The André Losch Foundation is a registered public-utility foundation founded in 2009. As an independent, impartial non-profit organization, the foundation supports projects for children and youth in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the areas of education, social cohesion, scientific research, and health. Its aim is to contribute to a fairer, more sustainable, and cohesive society. WISE has been advising the Board of the Losch Foundation since 2019.

Client needs

Following the adoption of new strategic priorities in November 2019, the Board wanted to find out how the Foundation's activities were perceived by grant recipients. The survey finding would help inform the Foundation’s 2024-2028 strategy.

WISE was a reliable and trustworthy partner. They helped our foundation live up to its ambitions and shape our strategy and vision for the future.

Impact of the project

The responses to the survey showed that the Losch Foundation is seen as an important partner within the Luxembourg non-profit ecosystem. Grantees also praised the Foundation's approach to philanthropic giving. The Board plans to use the study to help guide the Foundation’s activities going forward.

How WISE added value

We proposed a survey methodology and provided an outside perspective, as well as ideas based on similar projects we had worked on. We then collected and analysed the survey data and summarized our findings in a written report.
