independence
Independence is a central piece of WISE's identity and we protect it both with the intermediaries we work with and the partner organizations supported by WISE's donors. To this end:
- we are independent from banks or family offices but regularly work with such organizations
- we set our fees on daily rates and/or set packages and not directly in relation to the amount of the donations
- we visit and evaluate ourselves the various organizations we recommend to our clients
- we set our fees according to the level of the advice needed, the research to be undertaken and the complexity of the mandate
- as a privately held company, we separate our fees from the donations which go directly to the supported organisations
- we do not have any clients that account for more than 20% of our turnover
