A training in philanthropy for the young generation

MARCH 2009 - After the success of the trainings led by wise in Asia and Latin America, offering learning journeys for the next generation, Lombard Odier has mandated wise for "Make a Difference", an ad hoc training in Brazil for family business members of the younger generation. The programme, scheduled from the 6th to the 15th of August 2009, offers a unique field experience with experienced professionals.

Developing knowledge and methods linked to social entrepreneurship, explore the multi-faceted Brazil, confront the reality of associative work, meet brasilian family enterprises and build one’s leadership : these are some of the offers of this unique project. The initiative, lead by Lombard Odier, in partnership with the Family Business Network is a unique opportunity of personal and professional development with a philanthropic family perspective.

Throughout nine days, participants will have the opportunity to discover among specifically social equity issues, natural resources management and impact creation through economic development. Alongside professionals from wise and IMD, participants will visit a number of organisations in Rio and Sao Paulo.

After an inaugural edition in India in 2006, we are confident that this new « Make the Difference » edition will engage participants and arouse their interest for the long term.

Limited to 12 participants, the 2009 edition of « Make a Difference » requires registration at the following address : Genevieve Keeley, Lombard Odier. There are still a few places left. Register Now!
